A Warm Tradition – The Holiday Potluck Dinner & Dance – Sat Dec 11
This is a time for a reunion with old friends and to meet some new friends,
while we gather gifts for neighbors in need.
Admission is a potluck dish for dinner, your beverage of choice,
plus donations for our local Foodbanks, and WestSide Baby and/or Toys for Tots.
Potluck dinner/byob cocktails begin at 6pm.
Dancing begins at 8, with music by old favorites Evan and Charlie Brown.

Cooking Class – Cookies! – Weds December 15th

It’s another Cooking Class with Sandy of The Dreaming Dane Catering!
We will use one basic cookie dough to create at least six different cookies. Filled, rolled, shaped and more! We will discuss decorating and the use and creation of frostings and icings. And as a bonus, we will make Chocolate Truffles! This is a hands on class, designed to get your baking juices flowing!
Bring a container to take home your cookies.
This class will be larger, but space is limited, so sign up now!
Weds Dec 15, 6:30-9:30pm. $50.

Another Cooking Class! Weds, Nov 17

Just in time for the holidays: Appetizers!
Sandy will prepare a selection of appetizers that use basic to challenging techniques, and then we will learn how to make them. They will include crackers, veggie containers, stacks, wraps and pastry. And yes there will be wine for a mini-wine-pairing with the appetizers.

Holiday Bazaar – Sat Nov 27 – 11am to 4pm

What else is there to do on the Saturday after Thanksgiving but shop? (Well, there might be other things…) But whatever you’re doing, stop by the HPIC and check out the goods and talents of our local folk! Make Ravioli at HPIC – Weds Oct 20

Another great thing from the Highland Park Sunday Market: we met neighbor
and owner Sandy of The Dreaming Dane Catering, and Sandy wants to teach
a cooking class at HPIC. Woohoo! Ravioli! We will make and roll out the dough
and fill those little pockets with amazing things ranging from ricotta and butternut
squash to…dessert! Nutella, anyone? There will be wine to inspire and complement
the meal. Weds Oct 20, 6:30-9:30pm. $50. Class size: 10, first-come,
first-served, so register soon.
