Movie Night this Friday – October 18th

Doors open at 6:30pm, movie at 7. Free admission. Volunteers will be selling popcorn, candy and other movie fare. Bring blankets and pillows or sit in our chairs. This is an all ages event. Bring your friends, family and neighbors.

Movie hint: A young boy stumbles onto a witch convention and must stop them, even after he has been turned into a mouse. This 1990 movie is rated PG.

Call for Vendors – Holiday Bazaar

Highland Park Improvement Club (HPIC) member Christie Sjostrom is organizing the Holiday Bazaar this year and is looking for vendors.

The cost is $20 ($15 if you are an HPIC member) to rent a table. We are looking for handmade arts and craft items to be sold – no commercial items please (such as Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, etc).

Bazaar will be on Saturday, November 9th from 10 am to 3 pm. Space is limited, so if you are interested, please email Christie at csjostrom@hotmail.com.

Did you have a bumper crop from your garden this year? Share your harvest with your neighbors at the Corner Bar community harvest table. Bring a dish to share that celebrates our local harvest and snack away!

Come one, come all, to the fifth annual Highland Park Improvement Club giant garage sale! This year with even more amazing stuff that we know you have been looking for including:

Miscellaneous LP records, 100s of 45s of selected artists from an old jukebox business. Many duplicates and jukebox labels. Also have many 45 picture sleeves from the 80’s without the records.

 Relax in a gently used hammock.

There is also a great child’s easel with white board and paper option on one side, chalk board on other side.

And a kangaroo climber.
