  • The fundraising goal to rebuild HPIC is $3.4m
  • The Rebuild Fund is up to $1.2m, including the $400k state Building for the Arts grant
  • We still need to raise $1.9m
  • We are at 35% of our goal – more than one third of the way

The Highland Park Improvement Club (HPIC) has been a resource for the Highland Park and Riverview neighborhoods for over 100 years. When times are good, it is a gathering place for music, dance, food, and fun. When times are hard, it is a place of mutual aid and support. And during all times, it is the heart of the community – a place for connection and service.

Our community-owned building was tragically burned by a fire June 25th of 2021. Help us rebuild the heart of the neighborhood with improved performing arts and multipurpose spaces to foster connection, learning, and support for generations to come.

How you can help: Give once or give monthly. Spread the word. No amount is too small but the more we can raise right away to get us to our goal, the sooner we can get started on the demolition and construction. We plan to break ground in late 2023/early 2024.

Thank you so much for supporting HPIC. We are a community powered organization excited for what the future holds.
